5 Days Dahabiya Nile cruise

Day 1: Arrival in Luxor- Luxor East bank tour

Arrival in Luxor, Ez tour guide will pick you up from Luxor Airport or your hotel, starting your program exploring the east bank of Luxor.

Today’s sightseeing includes:

Karnak Temple and Luxor temple

You will start your trip by visiting the east bank of Luxor, exploring Karnak temple (the biggest temple in Egypt) Which was built by many Pharaohs and dedicated to God Amon-Ra, and enjoy visiting the great columns hall with 134 columns with its beautiful colors, which are recently restored the obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut and the sacred lake. then continue the tour to Luxor temple with its fascinating statues and obelisks.

Then, Embark on your Dahabiya cruise boat. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board,

Overnight on the west bank of Luxor.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank Tour -Cruise the Nile

Today, you have a great day to visit the valley of the kings, the Pharaoh’s cemetery with 63 tombs of the famous Pharos of the new kingdom. then you are going to visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Continuing to The Colossi of Memnon which are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III. At the End drive back to your Dahabiya.

This afternoon, Cruise to Esna, Overnight beside an island.

Day 3: Sail to Edfu – Visit Edfu Temple

Today, the Dahabiya will star to sail toward Edfu. Enjoy sailing and have your delicious lunch on the sun deck during sailing. Enjoy Nile views and take rare photos of Luxor and Aswan islands in the both sides of the Nile. watch the professional captain of the Dahabiya who wear mostly galabya the official dress of upper Egypt men while he move from the port slowly step by step between the another cruises and motor boats. the Egyptian culture around you every where. the Dahabiya sail by the Nubian islands where you will find their children play and their men and women work at the green fields. small fish boats, villages which is full of splendid Egyptian culture. it is great chance to have unique photos of the real culture.

visiting Edfu temple on your way which is dedicated to the god Horus, Horus temple in Edfu, the best-preserved Temple

Sail the NileOvernight beside an island.

Day 4: Kom Ombo Temple – Crocodile Museum

Today, the Dahabiya will star to sail toward Gebel Silsileh & Kom Ombo

Today’s sightseeing include:

Kom Ombo Temple: Stop In Kom Ombo, you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. enjoy sailing to Gebel Silsileh which was a very famous quarrying area throughout all of ancient Egypt due to the quality of the building stone quarried here. The site is a rich archaeological area having temples cut directly on the hills. Our Dahebieh will sail right to the foot of this majestic mountain where we will have the peaceful luxury of being the only boat to be docked in this area.
Sail to Aswan

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

 

Day 5: Aswan the beautiful city famous by the Nubian culture

Arrive in Aswan such a charming city famous by the Nubian culture. our expert tour guide will take you to discover the high lights of the city.

Today’s sightseeing includes:

Aswan High Dam: visit the famous Aswan High Dam, an engineering miracle used as an embankment dam situated across the Nile River, built in the 1960’s to protect Egypt from annual floods.

Temple of Philae: visit the great philae island temple. a boat trip to the Temple of Philae, which was built in honor of goddess Isis.

Unfinished Obelisk: Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries of Aswan where much of the red granite used for ancient temples and colossi came from. The Unfinished Obelisk located in the Northern Quarry still lies where it was carved when a crack was discovered as it was being hewn from the rock. Your qualified Egyptologist guide will explain how the 1 tonne obelisk was carved, and why the crack caused it to be abandoned.

Later, transfer to the Aswan airport or train station.
