8 Day Cairo and Dahabiya Nile Cruise

Day 1: Welcome to Egypt

Arrival: Ez tour Egypt Rep will welcome you and pick you up from Cairo international airport to your hotel in Cairo.

At the hotel, our guide will show you your tour itinerary to arrange and confirm pick up times for each tour-

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: The Pyramids Day (Giza Pyramids and Cairo Museum)

A New Day Shining with the Pyramids.

start your first-day Cairo tour of the pyramids with our guide from your hotel in Cairo visiting Giza Pyramids and the sphinx, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. start your tour by the Great Pyramid of Cheops (2551-2528 BC). Then move to Chephren Pyramid and then to the Panorama area, enjoy an awesome photo of the nine Pyramids, then move to the Sphinx, visit the Valley Temple and the Sphinx.

After that, you will have lunch in a local restaurant on your way to Cairo Museum to see the masterpieces of the museum on the ground floor and the collection of Tut Ankh Amon on the second floor.

Day 3:Today’s sightseeing includes: Karnak Temple and Luxor temple

Transfer from your hotel in Cairo to Cairo Airport for a domestic flight to Luxor, Upon your arrival at Luxor airport. You will be welcomed by our tour guide

You will start your trip by visiting the east bank of Luxor, exploring Karnak temple (the biggest temple in Egypt) Which was built by many Pharaohs and dedicated to God Amon-Ra, and enjoy visiting the great columns hall with 134 columns with its beautiful colors, which are recently restored the obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut and the sacred lake. then continue the tour to Luxor temple with its fascinating statues and obelisks.

Then, Embark on your Dahabiya cruise boat. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board,

Overnight on the west bank of Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor West Bank Tour -Cruise the Nile

Today, you have a great day to visit the valley of the kings, the Pharaoh’s cemetery with 63 tombs of the famous Pharos of the new kingdom. then you are going to visit the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Continuing to The Colossi of Memnon which are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III. At the End drive back to your Dahabiya.

This afternoon, Cruise to Esna, Overnight beside an island.

Day 5: Sail to Edfu – Visit Edfu Temple

Today, the Dahabiya will start to sail toward Edfu. Enjoy sailing and have your delicious lunch on the sundeck during sailing. Enjoy Nile views and take rare photos of the Luxor and Aswan islands on both sides of the Nile. watch the professional captain of the Dahabiya who wears mostly galabya the official dress of upper Egypt men while he moves from the port slowly step by step between the other cruise and motorboats. the Egyptian culture around you everywhere. the Dahabiya sail by the Nubian islands where you will find their children playing and their men and women working in the green fields. small fish boats, and villages that are full of splendid Egyptian culture. it is a great chance to have unique photos of the real culture.

visiting Edfu temple on your way which is dedicated to the god Horus, Horus temple in Edfu, the best-preserved Temple

Sail the NileOvernight beside an island.

Day 6: Kom Ombo Temple – Crocodile Museum

Today, the Dahabiya will start to sail toward Gebel Silsileh & Kom Ombo

Today’s sightseeing includes:

Kom Ombo Temple: Stop In Kom Ombo, you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. enjoy sailing to Gebel Silsileh which was a very famous quarrying area throughout all of ancient Egypt due to the quality of the building stone quarried here. The site is a rich archaeological area having temples cut directly on the hills. Our Dahebieh will sail right to the foot of this majestic mountain where we will have the peaceful luxury of being the only boat to be docked in this area.
Sail to Aswan

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 7: Aswan the beautiful city famous for the Nubian culture

Arrive in Aswan such a charming city famous for the Nubian culture. our expert tour guide will take you to discover the high lights of the city.

Today’s sightseeing includes:

Aswan High Dam: visit the famous Aswan High Dam, an engineering miracle used as an embankment dam situated across the Nile River, built in the 1960’s to protect Egypt from annual floods.

Temple of Philae: visit the great Philae island temple. a boat trip to the Temple of Philae, which was built in honor of the goddess Isis.

Later, transfer to the Aswan airport  for your flight to Cairo where you will be met, then transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Optional Trip to Abu Simbel

Day 8: Final Departure

Have breakfast, then get transferred to Cairo Airport for your final departure.

Keeping in mind that Egypt is a conservative society, dress moderately as you wich, but of course, light cotton clothes are preferred during the summer, and a cover for your head like a hat or scarf to protect you from the sun, a jacket for the winter nights will come in handy, and something comfortable for your feet like sneakers or a flip flop.

In a restaurant, it is good to give between 5 and 10% tips to the waiter. For a small favor, like carrying luggage or parking a car, a few Egyptian pounds would be appropriate. No less than five. Often times in Egypt you will find someone tending to the bathroom to keep it clean. Giving them a few Egyptian pounds is an appropriate amount. Tipping your tour guide and vehicle driver is completely optional but should be considered if you’re provided with great service. If you decide to tip feel free to give what you think your experience was worth.

There are many touristic areas in Egypt where special concerns are not necessary; however, in less touristic places, relatively modest dress is recommended. Women should avoid very tight clothing, dressing with relative modesty is a way of respecting the local culture.
